Home charging solution. Level 1, Level 2

There are two types of home charging: Level 1 charging and Level 2 charging.

  • Level 1 charging is a method of charging using an included electric vehicle (EV) charger. These chargers can plug one into a standard 120V socket and plug the other directly into the car. You can cover a distance of 200 km (124 miles) in 20 hours.
  • Level 2 chargers are sold separately from cars, but they are often purchased at the same time. These chargers are connected to a 240V output, so they need a bit of a complicated setup, and can be charged at 3-7 times the speed of electric cars and chargers. All of these chargers are linked to SAE J1772 and support e-feeding in Canada and the United States. Typically, an electrician must be installed.
  • By using a two-tier charger for electric vehicles and hybrid vehicles, you can charge faster and use the potential of electric vehicles faster. Depending on this area, you can use ethical states and local governments that support the purchase and installation costs.
